Book display for school libraries

BookSpace shelving has been designed to showcase books in the best way to encourage children to reach out, pick up and book and start their journey as life-long readers.

It is the result of years of research into the reading psychology – the pleasures and fears associated with reading and the motivators which encourage children to pick up a book and read.

We have fed all of this thinking into the BookSpace shelving range to ensure it makes a difference to children and that they have positive reading experiences in school.

 

Unique reversible shelving system

We don’t offer a one-size fits all approach. Instead we have a clever reversible shelving system that allows you to create small shelves for small format books and large shelving for larger format books. We also offer both face-out and spine-out shelving as it’s important to have some face-out display to attract pupils to the books balanced with spine-out shelving for capacity.

BookSpace shelving is made up of two types of shelves: face-out shelves and reversible spine-out shelves.

Three heights, each carefully designed to meet the needs of children of all ages:

970mm high shelving

Recommended for Foundation and KS1

Supplied with 2 shelves for non-fiction/large format books or 3 shelves for fiction/small format books.

1230mm high shelving

Perfect for KS2 mid-floor areas

Supplied with 3 shelves for non-fiction/large format books or 4 shelves for fiction/small format books.

1580mm high shelving

For KS2 wall configurations to maximise capacity

Supplied with 4 shelves for non-fiction/large format books or 5 shelves for fiction/small format books.
